Description: This is a very nice 3 pint water pitcher in the #473 Narrow Flute w/ plain rim made by the A. H. Heisey Glass Co. of Newark, OH circa 1915. This pitcher is heavy glass and well used. It stand 6-1/2" tall with its straight sides and is 5" in diameter plus the handle. The plain rim around the top is 2" wide. The bottom inside is marked with the large Diamond H trade mark. The bottom is heavily scratched due to use. It was probably used in a restaurant. Heisey made a large amount of glass for the restaurant and bar industries. The bottom of the handle has a very small nick at each of the sharp points. The inside has a light water stain as well. There are no other chips, flakes or cracks on this hard to find pattern water pitcher.
