Description: A very lovely Heisey punch set in the popular Lariat pattern. All pieces are in excellent condition. The set includes 15" punch bowl, 21" glass tray and 12 punch cups. There are no marks on the set. This pattern is also known by the #5040 or Gordian Knot.

This pattern was bold in concept and design. It's intriguing "rope" motif is carried, cleverly, throughout the entire hand-wrought line.

The inspiration for this pattern was supposedly from the twisting of a heavy gold watch chain. It was designed by Horace King and sometimes called heavy edge.
