Description:
This is an elegant creamer and sugar set made by A. H. Heisey & Company. It is from the Quator line (#355) produced between 1913-1935. This is a very heavy set of stately size, larger than the individual creamer and sugar, and referred to as the hotel creamer and sugar by Heisey (ref: The Collector’s Encyclopedia of Heisey Glass, by Neila Bredehoft, 1986). The design is uniquely angular, and features wheel cut flowers (crocuses maybe?) on each side panel. There is a 20 point cut star on the bottom. The crystal is very clear, of typical Heisey quality. Each shows some minimal wear to the base and a pinhead nick also under the base. The creamer has a tiny crease across the top edge that is polished and appears to be original to the piece. Display quality is near perfect. As with all of my items, this set can be returned for a full refund if you are not completely satisfied.
