This listing includes three (3) ceramic table lamp lamp bases from the Heifetz Lighting Company, including a vase in a shape reminiscient of the human heart, a masculine male torso figurine, and a more conventional vase. Specifications: heart, 4 lbs. 1 oz, 12 3/8 x 7 1/2 x 7 inches; torso, 4 lbs. 7 oz., 14 5/8 x 8 x 5 inches; vase, 4 lbs. 15 oz, 12 1/2 x 7 x 5 inches. There is a hairline on the top of the yellow/heart shaped piece, and a small chip from the base of this piece. There are no visible flaws to the other two pieces. The oval shaped vase still has its original paper label. (Unfortunately we failed to photograph the underside of this piece.) These works don't appear to have ever been mounted with lighting hardware. Heifetz was one of the leading participants in the first lighting design competition held at the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York in 1951, where they came away with nine awards. Heifetz table lamps in these styles typically sell for up to $750 to $1,250 each in fine mid-century/modern galleries.
