Description: Gorgeous unsigned Hawkes Brilliant cut glass Victorian compote in the Russian pattern. This pattern is photographed and described on pages 42 and 43 of "American Brilliant Cut Glass" by Bill and Louise Boggess. This piece has a broad shallow bowl supported by a wide based pedestal. It has very sharp cutting into a heavy crystal form. It has a great shape in one of the most popular patterns!
