Description:
This is a rare and hard to find figural clock-lamp manufactured by the New Haven Clock Co. (circa) late 1920-1930. It features a Goddess-like figure in a flowing gown, standing atop of a celestial globe with stars, moon, & a comet. It appears to be made of spelter, finished in
a beautiful bronze patina. The clock is in excellent running condition-30hr Time Only back wind movement. The dial is clean & is signed NEW HAVEN across top, & MADE IN USA along the bottom.
The lamp works by the pull of the chain & is functional. This beauty is in the same condition as it was the day I purchased it 30 yrs ago. The only fault (at that time) was a hairline flaw along a portion of the globe. This clock will be sold "AS-IS", and deserves a professional cleaning. A touch of elegance & antiquity to any home or office.
