Description: This is a pair of antique English black glass topped hatpins or hat pins. The steel hatpins measure 8.25 inches long and have black glass blob tops around .25 of an inch in diameter. The hat pins were made in England 1890-1910 and are in very good ++ condition with no chipping to the heads but some minor rust on the shafts which will probably clean up nicely. Oh for the days of the large ladies picture hats when it was necessary to remind the ladies to remove them in theaters so as not to block others' view.
