Description: This tin hatchet chocolate mold is in very good condition. It has no visible mold markings of any kind but is a Letang, French mold in that it is a match to another tool mold that has the Letang marking. The mold is hinged with a built in clip and the molded chocolate would measure 2" tall by 4.5" wide. Most likely, the mold dates from the later 19th to early 20th century.
