Description:
When Tut took over the hearts and minds of Americans the time before last (He has a long history of that!), in the 1970s, this oblong book was issued in correlation with the Metropolitan exhibition. It is titled "Time Line of Culture in the Nile Vally and its Relationship to Other World Cultures." Whew! It measures 13" long x 3 7/8" across and is in an accordion-fold format. There are about 70 pleats (not counting the ones with only printing and attributions), featuring photos and descriptions. The cardboard slipcase is a little bit weather-beaten, but the book itself is in excellent vintage condition. Please be advised that on the inside page, there is a round, colorless embossment with initials attributing this booklet to a personal library, this no doubt having been made by the booklet's original owner. It measures just under 1 1/2" in diameter. Again, no colors, and utterly tasteful as well. Reads "JJL" in the center, surrounded in much smaller letters reading "Library of John J. Lesicko." Not at all obtrusive, in my estimation.
U.S. buyer pays $4.00, which covers insurance as well as shipping & handling. International buyer pays actual postage.
