In Zuni lore the spirit bear contains living power. Much of the meaning for this talisman is secret to the Zuni medicine societies, but the spirit bear is said to have healing powers.

The chain is 18 inches long and is hallmarked 925. The bear measures approximately 3/4 inches long and l/2 inches high.
