Handmade Embroidery & Wood Oval Serving Tray 19th C.
Description: Handmade Embroidery and Wood Oval Serving Tray, 19th C. The tray features clear glass base protecting the handmade embroidery, two brass handles and four small ball feet on the underside. Dimensions: 1in. High, 12in. Wide, 19.75in. Long. Weight: 2lbs. 6oz. Condition: There is rather significant soiling and darkening to the embroidery. There are a number of cracks along the wood rim of the tray, the most significant being approximately 1in. long. There is minor surface wear (light scratching) throughout the glass base. The underside lining of the tray has a few areas of loss, the most significant being 1.5 x 1in. located along the edge. One of the ball feet is missing. Otherwise, the piece is in good condition.
