HAMPDEN 21 JEWEL NORTH AMERICAN RAILWAY MONTGOMERY Circa: 1909. Most desirable confiration of this scarce Hampden Railroad featuring: 1) Original Montgomery Dial, 2) Original case, 3) Excellent condition fully marked movement. This famous Railroad competed directly with Waltham's Canadian Pacific Railway and others for the North American Railroad market. Clean, running and very collectible. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.
DIAL: Double sunken white porcelain Montgomery dial with a very short hairline just under the sub. seconds circle. Scarce desirable Hampden Railroad dial.
MOVEMENT: 18 size, open face, full plate nickel, lever set, signed; "Hampden 21 Jewels", "North American Railway", "Adjusted to Five Positions", #3,268,034. Excellent plates, and competely original to the case.
CASE: Screw back and bezel yellow gold filled with Victorian Initials on back surface all in Ex. fine condition.
