Description: FABULOUS GUSTAVE BECKER 8 DAY OAK WALL REGULATOR IN MINT CONDITION. THIS A GORGEOUS CLOCK BY THE FAMED GERMAN CLOCKMAKER GUSTAVE BECKER. IT HAS A BEAUTIFULLY AND ELABORATELY CARVED OAK CABINET AND PORCELAIN FACE THAT ARE JUST MINT AND CAN BE SEEN IN THE IMAGES. IT RUNS FINE AND IS HIGHLY ACCURATE WITH A STRIKE ON THE HOUR AND HALF HOUR. GUSTAVE BECKER WAS AN AWARD WINNING GERMAN CLOCKMAKER WHO BEGAN MANUFACTURING IN 1852 IN SILESEA GERMANY. THE COMPANY SYMBOL IS A "GB" AND A MEDAL WHICH SYMBOLIZES HIS FIRST AWARD. THE BECKER CLOCKS ARE KNOWN FOR THEIR QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP AND THIS ONE IS REPRESENTATIVE OF THAT QUALITY. IT ALSO HAS A GORGEOUS PENDULUM WHICH FEATURES A GAME BIRD (PERHAPS GROUSE) STAMPED ON BRASS. CLOCK IS 42" LONG. THE CLOCK FACE IS PERFECT AND IS DISTORTED BY THE FLASH IN THE IMAGE.
