Limited to 200 numbered and signed copies, this being copy #75. Signed by Author and Artist on limitation page. 4to., 92 pp., half-vellum, brown cloth, top edges gilt, deckle-edged, marbled endpapers, illustrated frontispiece plus 15 additional plates. Beautifully illustrated volume on gun dogs. The author shares his experience with the care and training of his hunting dogs. G. Vernon Stokes was a well known British artist, who specialized in horses and dogs. Vellum is somewhat soiled, cloth is lightly rubbed, tips lightly bumped and worn, with very minor board exposure, gilt lettering on spine is somewhat dulled, page edges toned, otherwise content Near Fine, the book in overall Very Good Plus condition.
