Description: A rare dining car stand lamp made for the Grand Trunk Railway (GTR).The GTR was second only to the CPR during the the 19th century.It was absorbed into the CNR in the 1920's.The GTR also played a part during the Fenian Raids after the Civil War . It raised a military battalion known as the GTR Brigade.
