Gruen must have sold a lot of "Veri Thin" watches because they
were great looking, well engineered, and superior to anything on
the market at a comparable price. These watches must have
driven Hamilton, Gruen's biggest competitor, crazy! This one has
a beautiful gold filled case with a stainless steel back, measuring
27mm in width by 36mm in length! The watch (including the
dial) has been completely restored, and is in "like new"
condition! The case is virtually flawless and gleams like the day
it was made. The 15 jewel movement measures up to Gruen's
high standards of excellence and sets and winds "like butter".
Take note of the tonneau shaped case sides and the interesting
lug configuration. The overall effect is that of a "bombe" shaped
dial, crystal, and case. If you want the cadillac of watches from
