Description: This gorgeous brown transferware veggie server is made by W.H. Grindley from Tungstall England. This marking dates it to at the earliest 1880. But most likely a date sometime after that near the turn of the century. This particular server has a chip on the underneath side (see pictures), but overall this piece is perfect with not crazing or cracks. Transfer pattern is overall crisp and attractive. Pattern name is Daisy. I have two of these dishes; the other one also has a chip, but it is a larger; however, it does not affect the overall feel of the piece.
