Description:
This is a six compartment grey graniteware muffin tin. It measures 10 5/8" long, 7 1.4" wide and 3.4" deep. The color would be a medium mottled grey and it is near mint. There is a manufacturer's flaw where some blue and white swirl enamel had dripped into one of the cups and in another cup is a smaller drip of white and a pencil point of blue, and in a third cup, a spot of blue has been chipped out. There are only two spots of rust and that is in the bottom corner of the middle cup that has the white spot in it and the bottom corner of the corner cup that has a blue white swirl spot in it.. There are also two indentations that look like a knife scratch that was made in the enamel before it was fired as most of it has filled in and is rounded where it is visible. There are a few spots where the grey enamel has chipped off, but they are hardly noticeable. I date this from the 1800's. Rarely do you find one as nice as this. Happy Collecting!!!!
