Description: This is a nice clean set of brace, wood auger bits 4/16 to 16/16" in 1/16" increments plus many other bits for your brace, all have the tapered square shaped ends on them. The set of auger bits is complete with all the bits being marked "GREENLEE MADE IN U.S.A." on each except for the 13/16", this one is marked "IRWIN U.S.A." on it, and 9/16" is marked "WORTH", and the 8/16" is a James Swan, all are made in the IRWIN patern with double spurs, and cutting edges, all in good+ to new condition. The pattern of the none Greenlee bits are the same as the others, in fact, it would be difficult to tell any difference in the brands while looking at the pattern alone. All the bits have the course lead screws, good sharp cutting edges, and spurs, all in very good useable condition. These were generally recommended for contractor, and household type work, for drilling holes through wood quickly, and clearing chips with little clogging. There are 12 spiral type brace bits, for soft metal, plastic and other soft materials you may want to drill including wood. These are mixed brands like Cleveland twist drill, Standard Twist Drill, W&B etc. I didn't see any that were not made in U.S.A.. Also included is 3 different slot type screwdriver bits, and 3 countersink reamers in 3 different sizes. All the spiral drill have been inspected and sharpened if needed, the reamers are sharp, and the screwdriver tips are all in great shape. None of these bits are rusty, or damaged, a few have very minor pitting on them, all in useable condition. Also supplied is a heavy cotton duck material, with sown pockets for each bit, with one extra pocket if you wanted to have an expansive bit in with the rest of your bits. We do sell expansive bits seperately also. The roll is new, a few minor stain, all heavy duty cloth and thread. A nice complete set of vintage bits for your brace!
