Description: Antique graphoscope which was used for viewing small photos,CDVs, and tintypes etc through the large circular viewing glass.Viewers such as this one were a typical fixture in many Victorian sitting rooms.Photos were inserted in the slot and viewed through the large magniyfying glass at the opposite end.Constructed of polished and stained wood with black borders.It bears the name of the maker on a brass plate:" Unis France" (see image ).Dimensions in closed position :3.25 x 6.25 x 10.50 inches.Further images will be sent on request.Thank you
