Description:
This pair of superb sconces from 1910 is made of darkened brass. These sconces display an oval and banded back plate featuring a classic draped urn top finial. Banded to the back plate is a U-curved and ribbed arm, which starts and finishes with foliated adornments. These scones include simple smooth bobeches. The wall lamps are in excellent condition. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctional antique turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we would gladly replace them with new ones if so desired. They are 9 ¼” long, 4 ¼” wide, and protrude 5 ¾” from the wall.
