Description: This beautiful Crooksville China square covered vegetable bowl or cassarole is in excellent condition with beautiful roses and carnations on a yellow background band with geometric shapes of triangles trimming the band around the sides of the base and lid and has a wonderful creamy white background. This beauty has 24K gold trim showing barely any wear at all. On the inside rim there is a small possible hairline or could be a heavy craze but it's darker than the rest of the crazing that is all over this piece which adds to it's vintage charm. No chips or cracks and measures 10" across from handle to handle and approximately 5.5" tall to the top of the finial. What a beautiful sweet piece to add to your vintage decor for your china cabinet or to use as a centerpiece for your table! Marked on the bottom with the Crooksville China Co mark. The Crooksville China Company closed in 1959.
