Golden Girl For Valentines Day Ad 1951 This is a March 1951 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from Lord and Taylor of New York. The girl in this picture is wearing a bathing suit made of actual 24 karat gold plated on the fabric. Rose Marie Reid designed the suit and Lord and Taylor of NY has it in various sizes for 75.00. Photographed by George Platt Lynes. The sunglasses on page 2 aware designed by Lugene and are encased in the outstanding new jet black plastic rims. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 9 3/4 inches wide by 13 inches tall
