Description: Goebel Rabbit salt and pepper shakers both carry the full bee mark which dates them from 1950-1954. They are 2.5” tall and were designed by Reinhold Unger in 1950. These are Thumper with his eyes closed, and each has its original stopper. Both are in excellent shape. There is an additional mark on one of them, in the same color blue, appearing to be a c within a circle along with additional letters, perhaps v or w. They are both free of chips and cracks. The paint is excellent. They book in the McHugh Goebel Salt and Pepper book for $125, but are being offered here for 35% off – or $81.25. This is a pair rarely found – especially in this excellent condition.
