Description: This hard plastic doll, Glossy, was made by Mattel in 1981. A series of friends of Dazzle were made with a 4 inch Barbie body and face that included Dazzle, Glossy, Spangle, Glimmer, Rhinestone, Glissen, Crystal and Diamond. 2 different faces were used, Superstar and Steffie, and they had removable clothing that could be mixed or matched, a Dazzle City, with change around rooms, and a horse named Blaze. Dressed in blue jeans with a sparkly pink top she is in her original bubble window which includes a styling comb and doll stand on a yellow cardboard card that has a small tear at the top and shows some wear. Marked on the back: Mattel Inc.1981, Hawthorne, CA.90250./Made in Taiwan/Proof of Purchase #5288/Safety-Tested. A wonderful addition to any Mattel Doll Collection.
