Description: We are offering a pressed glass vanity set, consisting of 2 perfume bottles and a tray. I have not been able to identify the pattern, but I believe that this set dates from the early 1900's EAPG period, and no later than the depression. The pattern is best described as a beaded oval edged with larger beading. The 7" tall perfume bottles have large teardrop shaped stoppers with scalloped edges. The bottles are 6 sided, and are edged on the bottom with larger balls. The 3 footed tray, which measures 14.5 x 8.5, has a frosted interior, and has handles on either end. I can find no chips or cracks, not even on the inner rims or the stoppers. The frosted affect in the tray kind of obscures the quality of this set, but when you hold the bottles up to the light, they have a very nice clarity. This sale will benefit our local Hospice.
