Description: Early 19th century English weighted large glass inkwell with brass collar and door knob handle shaped lid both with wonderful aged patina that has not been polished. Two very tiny darker spots on the collar face. The weight and design would make a handsome paper weight on any man's desk. The mouth is also large enough to use for cotton balls,bath salts or condiments in the kitchen. Excellent condition,no nicks,chips or cracks. Measures 4.5L X 4.5D X 3H.
