Description: Glass bowl design Erik Höglund, Boda Sweden. The glass with bubbles was characteristic for Erik Höglund. Höglund who came 1953 to Boda as a newly graduated from College of Arts, Crafts and Design then got the freedom to design what he wanted. But the very capable and traditional glassworkers did not want to hear about intentional bubbles in the glass so there were many disputes. But this young designer became one of the leading glassdesigners in Sweden. Höglund stayed with Boda until 1973 when he became a "free designer". Since 1990 Boda is merged with Kosta and Orrefors. Signed H851/185. Height 21,5 cm and diameter is 18,5 cm.
