Gallery certificate letter attached to frame verso (partially torn along upper edge and creased): "Galleria Masini..Firenze Italia. Florence July 13th, 1965. Statement of Artist or Seller. 'I, the undesigned Carlo Masini, joint-proprietor of Galleria Masini, do, hereby, declare that I am the seller of certain works of art, viz: 1 oil painting on canvas by Guidotti Street Scene Lire 30,000 that the buyer is taking personally to U.S.A.. I further declare that the above painting is original. I sign on behalf of the painter as he does not reside in Florence.' Carlo Masini.". Dimensions: Canvas: 20 x 16in. Frame: 26 1/4 x 22 1/4in. Weight: 4lbs. 4oz. Condition: Surface of the work is slightly dirty. Light stable craquelure to surface paint throughout. Minor nicks to surface paint in upper right corner and lower left corner.
