Description: A French Late Nineteenth Century gilt bronze and enamel decorated box, circa 1880. The gilt bronze molded edges and short feet all cast with repeating bands of acanthus leaves. The fittings surround panels painted with cherubs within floral sprays on a vibrant blue ground. Condition: Very good. The rear panel has some loss in the decorative field. Dimensions: H D W.
