Description: This is a fine quality piece of furniture made by Gillows & Co in the late 19th Century, and consequently the workmanship is to an exceptionally high standard. It is a mahogany washstand with two drawers under a marble top which is galleried around three sides. There is a repair to the marble on the right hand side gallery which can be seen in the accompanying photographs. It stands on turned legs with brass castors. The Gillows & Co stamp can be seen on the top of the right hand drawer front and bears the number 2023, also visible in the accompanying photographs.3ft (92cm) wide, 21.5" (55cm) deep, 28.5" (72cm) table top height, 35" (89cm) gallery height(Our Stock Code S216)
