Description:
Offering this lovely little straight leg walker doll named GiGi, made by the A & H Doll Corporation, New York, 1955, she is a type 3, has regular toes, not molded on shoes. Pretty light brown coiffed wig, blue eyes, rosey mouth. She is wearing an cream color wedding gown with lots of lace trim; little net veil with flowers and matching ribboned flower garland on her wrist. Little white vinyl slip on shoes. Undies match the dress. The outfit looks to be original. Good+++ condition, no cracks or damage on doll, one tiny mark on side of one leg, does not detract. Face paint is good; sleep eyes work fine, hair still retains a lot of its original curl. Also included is the original tan box with green and red stripes and on front reads I am GIGI I walk, I Sit, I Sleep, Change my dress, curl my hair. Box lid has one split corner, overall very light wear. Also included is another short dress which has some fading and an extra pair of shoes. This little doll was one of many made by various manufacturers in the early 1950's - such as Virga, Pam, Wendy, they are were so cute - add this one to your collection today!
