Description: Wow! This is a huge egg. In one of my pictures I have shown it next to a 12 ounce can of Coke so you can see just how big the candy container is! The egg shows three baby chicks in a band. One is singing, one is playing a guitar and the other is playing a horn. The colors are still very bright! The inside of the egg has a pretty red roses floral design and also reads "container made in Western Germany". On one half of the egg the inside is trimmed with paper lace. As you can see in the pictures some of the lace is missing. Also on the inside there is some discoloration along one side of the inner egg. It did not show up in the pictures. The egg measures 15 1/2" x 10". It is 10 1/2" in diameter at the widest part. The outside of the egg has some crazing as you can see in my closeup. I showed the worst part of the crazing. It is in very good vintage condition for its age. There is a stress mark about an inch long on one side of the egg. A fabulous egg & a must have for your vintage Easter collection!
