Description: These 3 plastic chalet with figurals Christmas Tree ornaments were made during the 1940's in Germany and are marked: GES.GESH/Made in Western Germany. Most of the hard plastic decorations from the 1940s and 1950s were made of polystyrene according to my Pictorial Guide to Christmas Ornaments and Collectibles Book by George Johnson. In very good condition the set of 3 are exactly the same, a diamond shaped chalet with green tree outside and man inside dressed in a yellow shirt with blue pants with a red hat carrying a red sack in one hand and yellow and brown lantern in the other and they measure 2 1/4 inches tall. An addition to any Vintage Tree Ornament Collection.
