Description:
This stunning elm pedestal desk was recently crafted in England by a local cabinet maker as a replica of a Georgian period piece. The wood looks amazing, with a very wispy grain and nice, rich color. The top has an inlaid writing surface of high-quality green leather with a border of gold tooling. This desk has two spacious file drawers that accommodate both legal- and letter-sized files, a writing slide on the back and the three upper drawers have working locks. The drawers also feature dovetailed joints and solid brass, swan-neck style pulls. The pedestals have plinth bases with hidden (and removable) casters underneath for your convenience. Being a pedestal desk, this piece disassembles into the top and two pedestals. Overall, this really is a stunning pedestal desk! Don't miss your opportunity to "buy it now!"
