Description: Pair of Georgian sterling sugar tongs made by Stephen Adams. He entered his mark in 1760. Marked with a lion passant and duty mark of the kings head no date letter. Length 5 1/2 inches. Great zig-zag design all the way round. No breaks or repairs. Excellent condition. Very light surface scratches commensurate with age.
