Description: Georgian Ring Circa. 1750 England. This ring, over 250 years old is in excellent condition. It has one of the most extraordinary Spessartite Garnets. The depth and color are breathtaking! Garnet tested with refractive index liquid. 15K yellow gold, tested with 15K acid. Silver top. Foil (closed) back. Oval Spessartite Garnet surrounded by 16 rose diamonds. Diamonds tested with a diamond tester. Diamonds have a grayish hue, which is typical for closed-back set, Georgian era diamonds. Size 7 1/4 Can be easily sized by a jeweler. 4.1 gr. 2.6 dwt. Fabulous!
