Description: We offer a splendid George III sauceboat made by Elizabeth Morley in 1779 in London. Almost stark in its simplicity it is decorated with simple gadrooning made by punching to the silver around the rim. The legs where they join the body have an almost flame like design. In very good used condition. The marks are rubbed as illustrated. Bears a crest to one side.Within a garter belt a knights cap with what resembles flames emerging. On the Garter there is a moto in Latin.
