Description: Beautiful impressionistic painting by listed British artist George Fields (19th/20th c.). Fields' paintings almost always have beautiful sunsets with people and/or animals on a road. This is the second piece I've owned by him and it never fails to amaze me at how peaceful and serene his paintings are. This piece is in very good condition, with very minimal crazing to the canvas and one tiny 1/8" patch verso. Signed lower right. Image size 35.5"W x 23.5"H. Overall measurement 42"W x 30"H. Original gold painted wood frame.
