SOLD ----Drucker Antiques is pleased to offer a rare sterling silver and amethyst mezuzah designed by Henning Koppel. It is 2 5/8 inches in length. The mezuzah has impressed company marks, Georg Jensen 925s Denmark HK (Henning Koppel). It is interesting to note that this is the only Mezuzah designed & produced by the Georg Jensen Silversmithy. Henning Koppel, one of Jensen's most distinctive designers. He studied sculpture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and in Paris. His works are shown in museums and he has also one metals for his work. Information about Koppel can be found in the book by Janet Drucker, "Georg Jensen A Tradition of Splendid Silver" second edition page 254.
