It is in fair condition for it's age and the binding is torn. The dust jacket is also in poor shape. All of the recipes are readable. You might find a spot or two or a note written in the margin. I didn't see any torn pages. This book is timeless and would make a great gift for someone who is really into cooking.Sample recipes are: Veal birds, Pineapple Nut Bread, Chicken Salad Loaf, Vicksburg Stuffed Ham, Shrimp Pie, Black Bottom Pie, and Mama Kelly's Chiffon Cake.
