Description:
The photograph is of a sample gameboard measuring 16" by
24". The board is constructed from birch plywood within a pine
framed edge. The squares have wood burned boundaries. The
dark squares are stained with a minimum of three coats of
ebony
staining and the light square are the natural surface of the
unstained birch. The entire board is finished with two coats of a
satin varnish. The squares in this gameboard are 2" on a side.
With 1 1/2" squares the overall board in this style would
measure 12" by 18".
You may order a gameboard with a number of variations: 1)
square size; 2) with or without end trays; 3) different stains or
two color paint; 4) solid wood in place of plywood; and 5) an
other options you may choose to include such as Canadian
checkers, a 12 by 12 square board. Price will vary
depending upon your choice of options.
