Description: Diantique is proud to present Volumes 1 & 2 of the 2 volume set of The New Gallery of British Art containing One hundred & twenty-one Engravings on Steel, from the works of distinguished British Painters. The publisher was D. Appleton and Company in New York. They were published in 1880's. As you can see in the pictures the bindings are gone. The books are still holding together but the two front covers are loose. They have slight water damage to the edges of the pages. The engravings in them are in good shape except for water marks on the edges. If you would like to see more pictures of the books please email with request.
