Rare & Important Museum Quality Full size English Fine Oak Stereoviewer. This beauty just came out of a Florida home w it has been displayed for many years. This gorgeous machine is made of the finest English Oak and stands; (45 inches tall) 3 feet and 9 inches, and is 15" inches wide at it's top mantle base. The machine as indicated by the fine ivory wafer makers plate was made by C.Grayson in Bradford,England. And it only get's better...much better~ Inside this beauty contains the original 103 (high quality) glass stereoview slides from the Charles Richard John Spencer Churchill Family. Historically recorded as the 9th Duke of Marlborough. He was married to Consuelo Vanderbilt Duchess of Vanderbilt. T are important scenes of the English,Scottish, Irish and French Rivera adventures that this grand family experienced while exploring throughout the United Kingdom and Europe. In one particular slide they are shown in a stunning snow white 1907 Silver Ghost Rolls Royce with huge white wall tires that hauled this crew around in style. In another t is a smartly dressed gentleman standing in front of a large carved stone sculpture of the World admiring the incredible display. T are interior shots of their Mansion and Family outings,Strange Machines,Beautiful Scenery and much,much more. Without question the photographer was a trained master not an amateur. The composition and historical quality of these slides testify to this. It may be the finest,untouched original stereoviewer on planet earth to exist. One would believe it just stepped directly out of a Time Machine. I cannot stress enough how marvelous this machine is and the slides it contains.
