Description:
This cast iron eight fruit muffin pan was reproduced from an original iron muffin pan cast around 1850. The heavy cast iron mold has an autumn garden harvest motif. The 8 different designs include: apple, pear, cherries, peach, flower, leaves, and a turnip. Bake muffins, quick breads, corn bread or cakes in all the different shapes. The functional handles are decorative and can be used to hang this beautiful piece on your kitchen wall. The very heavy tray measures 15" long and about 7 1/2" wide. The bottom is marked Cast in U.S.A. 31-161. It was made by John Wright Company Wrightsville, Pa. A card with care and seasoning instructions and recipes for 8-FRUIT SHORTCAKE AND CORN BREAD MUFFINS is included with this great baking pan. It is in mint condition. Never seasoned or used.
