Description: We offer for your consideration a silver snuff box. based upon the marks my Tardy indicates that it was made in the late 18th century in Valenciennes (commaunte Lille). In truly magnificenmt condition this piece is absolutely superb. If only it could speak it could describe its survival since the times before the French revolution. Silver from this period is extremely rare. Even the hinge remains in excellent condition.
