This old French trunk made of pine wood comes from the village of Perouse (Territoire de Belfort) in Eastern France (near Alsace region and Switzerland). This piece was made in the mid. 1800's. For information, at this time, the population of Perouse was about 370 (today, the population of the village is 1000) On the photos, you can see, on the front of the trunk, the coat of arms of the village of Perouse. This old piece is in a good condition and everything is original (no key)!!! GREAT PIECE with FABULOUS PATINA! Don't worry for the shipping...we ship from Texas (not from France).
