Description: Additional photos available. Set of 4 black and white 19th century French military plates are signed on the back of each "Louis Lebeuf Montereaul" in black script writing. Beautiful black and white foral surrounds each scene outlined with a tulip border. The set includes,"La Conversation","Y dit que vous avez une Jambe de bois de maissance","Le Misantrope On peut me'priser souverainement l'espece humaine mais cracher sur les vendanges! jamais","Quoique Fautive J'aime encore mieux 'etre saoul que d'etrebe'te,ga dure moins longteins". All in wonderful condition,no nicks,chips or cracks. Two plates are slightly darker on the back. Make a wonderful wall hanging when not in use. Measure 8L X 8W X 1H each.
