Description: A superb French, Louis XV style, mid-19th century, ormolu-mounted armoire à doucine in kingwood and tulipwood parquetry. The rectangular brèche violette marble top over a long frieze drawer above a pair of doors. The sides and each door quarter veneered with panels that repeat the shape of the top. The whole raised on short cabriole legs.
