Description: Scarce pair of 18th century gilt bronze mounted thick blown and hand cut cobalt glass vases. French, circa: 1775-1785. Measuring: 8.25" high . This Superb and fine pair are extremely well made. each glass body is hand blown deep cobalt glass. Each has hand cut facets around the entire body. Mounted in its original sharp crisp bronze mounts boasting swags and bows.

Rich Mercury gilding still in tact and original. Each has some minor restoration to glass at top where it meets the bronze mounts. Does not affect the integrity of them or their beauty. The glass most likely produced from the Baccarat factory.
